Your stake is multiplied by whatever bucket the ball settles in. Most drops land near the middle.

The top bucket on 16 rows at high risk pays the largest multiplier in the game, but it is also the rarest outcome on the board — the ball has to bounce the same direction essentially every row. Treat it as a lottery outcome, not a target.
Is Plinko provably fair?
Yes. Each drop is derived from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce. You can rotate your client seed at any time and verify past drops afterwards.
Does low risk actually lose less?
It loses more slowly and more predictably. The expected loss per unit wagered is identical — 1% — at every risk setting.
